In the eight grade we have watched the interesting talk from TEDtalks about gaming. I really like this talk for two reasons: it's a really interesting aspect of a subject that is discussed a lot and the things she says gaming gives to those who do it are the same things that I wish that school could do for students. ¨ Watch it, it's interesting!

Here are some links to different sites that we have used: Webbmagistern is a site where you can practise several different subjects. The tests of irregular verbs are really good. FreeRice is a site where you practise different subjects and for every correct answer you get you also donate rice to people that don't have as much as we do, through the UN's World Food Programme. roadtogrammar is site where you can practise your English grammar. TEDtalks is a site which we have used twice in the 8th grade. On this site you can find interesting people who talk about interesting stuff. A lot of the talks have subtitles in different languages so that you can vary the level of difficulty.
